Personal Belongings

We urge you to limit your personal belongings at the hospital to necessary items only. Please do not keep credit cards, precious jewelry, large amounts of cash or other valuables with you in the hospital. The medical center cannot be responsible for damage, theft or loss of your property. If you have brought valuables with you, have a family member or friend take them home or ask your nurse to have your valuables placed in safekeeping.

Staff Identification

Hospital staff and volunteers each wear a name badge that includes his or her name, department and photo. You have the right to know who is caring for you. If you have any concerns about a person’s identity, talk to your nurse.

Tobacco Use

The use of tobacco products is prohibited on all Fairview-owned and -leased property at the medical center. For more information about the hospital’s tobacco-use policy, please call Security at 3-4544.
