Prostate cancer is one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers in men. The Center for Prostate Cancer, a collaboration of the University of Minnesota Medical Center and University of Minnesota Physicians (UMPhysicians), provides a full range of diagnostic and treatment services in urology, medical oncology, radiation therapy and support services. We work collaboratively to provide the best possible care to you and your family.

Our center provides treatment for several conditions, including:

• Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)
• Kidney (renal) cancer
• Genital urinary tumors

The Center for Prostate Cancer is directed by nationally recognized urologic cancer surgeon Kenneth Koeneman, M.D., of UMPhysicians. His extensive experience in minimally invasive surgical techniques combined with his research in molecular therapies is leading the way to developing innovative, effective treatments for prostate cancer patients.
